Award Citation
The 2019 Citation for Outstanding Service to the Society is awarded to John Lock in recognition of his contributions to the SMPTE Australia Section over the past five years. As a Section Manager, John has ensured a consistent slate of Section meetings covering a broad range of topics. His efforts resulted in increased attendance and membership growth. In addition to producing meetings, John also records the minutes of the Section Board meetings and manages the document archives of the Section. His proactive approach to Section management and reliability as a team-player epitomizes SMPTE Section leadership.
