                                                    Linda Gedemer serves as the Technical Director for Source Sound VR as well as owner of the consulting firm The Audio Group. Linda holds undergraduate degrees in Music Engineering / Electrical Engineering (Univ. of Miami), graduate degree in Acoustical Sciences (Rensselaer) and a PhD in Audio and Acoustical Engineering (Univ. of Salford, UK). 
Linda has extensive experience in designing and building audio, video, data, and electronic control systems for a wide variety of commercial, educational and entertainment applications worldwide. She is also an acoustic consultant working in architectural acoustics and perceptual research. She worked in Harman International’s Corporate R&D group for over 3 years as part of her PhD. In addition, Linda worked as an adjunct professor at Loyola Marymount University teaching studio acoustics, digital audio and recording technology as part of LMU’s School of Film and Television. She has also been involved in audio production work for many years and is an MPSE Golden Reel Award-winning sound editor. Linda is actively involved in the VR/AR audio community, having conceived and co-chaired the first international Audio Engineering Society Conference on Audio for Virtual and Augmented Reality in 2016 and served in the same position for the 2018 conference.
